Spider fm is a campus radio station owned by Kaduna Polytechnic. The station got it licence in 2009 but they started their operation in 2019.
Spider Radio FM is one of the historical establishments of the Rector of Kaduna Polytechnic and in his words Professor Idris Bugaje says:
“Spider Radio is a Campus radio, a non-commercial community based radio,develop mainly as a training platform for students and to promote community relations with our hosts.Kadpoly Management is happy with the performance of the Spider Radio team so far and we look forward to greater achievements in the future. The hard work and spirit of comradeship that permeates the radio station is unparalleled and I am confident they will serve as role models for other units of the polytechnic. “Looking back at the old pictures of Kaduna polytechnic one must agree that the instructions has been saved from the dark times of collapsing.

The viable entity of any institution is its smooth movement with serene environment of learning and to have a leader that has the desire to work in accordance with the values of his work and the interest of the people. We must continue to appreciate the effort of our Founding Fathers of Nigeria and most especially the Founder of Northern Nigeria:Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardauna for giving us Kaduna polytechnic. One thing remained constant in leadership. The law of leadership is that a good leader makes his subjects good and focused.
